As per the numbers available, the Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani and Kareena Kapoor starrer has grossed £425,000 in the UK, with an impressive print average of over £8,000. The film has also grossed a very impressive $2,149,227 in the US, with a big print average of $18,060. Reportedly, 3 IDIOTS has done exceptionally well in Australia.
What must be kept in mind is that unlike the usual 3-day weekend in the US and UK, the numbers are for a 5-day weekend, as 3 IDIOTS released on Wednesday the 23rd of December in both the markets.
